Age & Elapsed Time Calculator

Calculate your calendar age from a date of birth, or measure how long it has been since an event in years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds.

Years, months and days
Weeks, hours and minutes
Birthday and anniversary countdown
Optional time input

Calculate Your Age

Enter your date of birth for a detailed age result. Switch to the second mode to measure time since an event such as a wedding, job start, graduation or personal milestone.

Quick note

A date of birth is enough. The calculator uses the current system time automatically. If the birth time is unknown, calendar age still uses the date, while total weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds are approximate using 00:00 as the start time.

Birth details
Use DD.MM.YYYY (day.month.year), for example 17.08.1994.
Enter a time such as 10:55, or use Choose Time.

What does this calculator do?

This page handles two related tasks. Age mode shows calendar age in years, months and days plus total weeks, hours, minutes and seconds. Elapsed Time mode measures the time since an event such as a wedding, job start, graduation, relationship milestone or habit change.

It is useful for questions such as β€œHow old am I?”, β€œHow many days since this event?”, β€œHow many months have passed?” and β€œHow long until the next anniversary?”

How are age and elapsed time calculated?

The calculator compares the entered start date with the current system time. It first computes complete calendar years, months and days, then reports the same elapsed span as total days, weeks, hours, minutes and seconds.

Elapsed time = current system time βˆ’ start date
Total days = exact elapsed duration between the two dates

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a birth or event time required?

No. A date is enough for the main calendar result. If no time is entered, total weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds are approximate using 00:00 as the start time.

What time is used as the calculation endpoint?

The calculator automatically uses the current system date and time and displays that timestamp in the result panel.

Can I use this for anniversaries or personal milestones?

Yes. Elapsed Time mode is designed for anniversaries and milestones. Add an event name if you want a more identifiable result.

Does it show time until the next birthday or anniversary?

Yes. The result panel also shows the number of days until the next birthday or anniversary.
